As the sun shined upon us
A tear dripped down my face
"Why do you have to go?" I asked you
But then I remembered, lifes like one big race
Those last few moments
Me looking at you
It hurt me so bad
It made me so blue
Then you had to leave
Get onto that bus
I did'nt know what to believe
What would happen to us?
Memories flashed through my head
The best memories of you and I
Those feelings I fed
I wanted to die
But as you turned your back
I wanted to run
Onto the bus with you
So we could be one
The bus slowly drove off
And I did not look back
For fear that you would see me
And want to turn back
Goodbye I said in my head
As I looked the other way
Maybe I'll see you again
Maybe another day. . .
