The feeling of the grass
still wet with morning dew
beneath bare feet
Connected now am I
to the earth and the sky
The only sound I hear
is nature-awakening
to a new day dawning
It calms my spirit
as I drift back,into a place
a place of innoncence and wonder
that only children know
warmed by the light
of the rising sun
ressurected once again
is this child within
And for a moment I can see
what I have left behind
when I was but a child
and the world was mine
