Oh how many times must we
go through this, I thought
we settled it last time
with a kiss.
Through the most frightening storm
and to the darkest nightmare, I've
told you I'll always be there.
In sickness and in health, and
even when you catch a case
of lepersy, I'll be there.
I'll be there to hold you
in my arms, and kiss your
heartache away; if God sees
to it, I'll wipe your tears
till judgement day.
But until then, I cannot
guarantee eternal happiness or
everlasting joy; I can only
promise to never leave your
side, and offer you my
undying love, today.
