As she undresses
She feels as though
Someone else is there
She looks behind her
To see nothing
An uneasy feeling
Consumes her
She draws a bath
While she lays there
In silence
With the curton closed
She sees a shadow
Pass by
She clenches the curtons
Slowly she drags
The curton open
No one is to be seen
She is now deathly frightened
She bundles up quickly
Before climbing into bed
She takes a look
Out the window
Locking the doors and
Closing the blinds
Lets her relax a little
She climbs into bed
While lying there
She begins to hear
Someone breathing
It's as if she can feel
Their breath
On the back of her neck
Jumping out of bed
She runs frantically
Throughout the house
Someone is watching
Noting her every move
She can not escape
For this is truly all in her head
No one is there
No one has been there
She is alone
