Describe A Love ~~~~ How do you describe a love Thats stronger than any word? How do you describe a feeling That ears have never heard? From the minute the doctor held you up And I looked upon your face A wave of love came over me That time could not erase For nine months we formed a bond Though we never looked eye to eye And now as the time arrived All we both could do was cry Yet when I held you in my arms We both felt such at peace For together as father and son We found the missing piece And as if our love wasnt big enough Somehow it daily grew And when I wanted to see myself All I had to do was look at you Youre the greatest love I ever knew The greatest gift I ever got All the surprises you had in store for me Was never less than a lot Its my wish to grow along with you And experience every first To be the greatest father to you Is an unquenchable thirst

Imagine how God must love us...so many times more than we even love our children. This makes me think of that, and I cannot fathom the depth of that emotion.

The moment I read those first few lines, I smiled. It's just so sweet. The way you wrote it was okay... But the emotions were really good. It's one of those poems that's more emotion and sincerity. |
