I can't sleep
my eyes are sewn open.
I've been awake for weeks.
I'm seeing things
i'm hearing things
my thoughts have been stolen
by something i'm not sure exists.
I'm battered and broken
unable to focus.
Every word that i've spoken
feels so bogus.
I'm paranoid
It's just a phase
but they're too frequent.
Am I being damaged
or strengthened from persistence?
