I can still hear that call
loud
deafening
like thunder to my ears.
Distant
yet close enough to feel.
My body
unsettled in this stirring of desire
breathing on
Pins and Needles
not air.
The outside is welcoming
wrapped up in the moisture of the breeze
sweet with the sent of unfolding
coming undone
and back together
again.
