Everything you left for me It fills a box, with a key I wear the key around my neck Its the key keeping me from turning into a broken wreck I keep it near my heart So my memories of you are always here
I sift through memories I find pictures of you and me You kept them to remind you Of times when together, we flew Sketches of places weve been I wish everything was just a dream But its true youre really gone And Im still here
Years later I find that dusty box The key still around my neck fits in the lock Opening the lid Remembering everything we did
Now youre gone and Im still here My eyes fill with more empty tears I look at these memories in a box I put them away and turn the key in the lock

So sorry for the loss of your friend.
It'll take some time, but your heart in time will heal. Your friend, Paul would want you to move on. He's always with you.
If you ever need someone to talk to pm anytime.
Take care,
Sue |
