I'm with you now

Contributed by PoetBaby814 on Saturday, 5th March 2005 @ 08:03:02 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

I lay awake every night waiting
Nothing comes that I can see
But you wait with me
As silent as the walls
Your presence runs through me
But I can't see you
You whisper in my ear
Sending shivers down my spine
I stand in the rain
And run my fingers across your life
As I finger your name in the stone
Tears drip off my face along the rain
The ground soaks up my tears
Carrying them to you
I sit six feet above your chest
Your osul stands in front of me
I speak to you as though you listened
But you say nothing
I don't see you
I sit so close to you but we were never further
I wait for you to come back
But you don't
Cause you won't
Cause you can't
I pass right through you as does the rain
I wash away my fears with rain
As I walk away I pray
God will forgive me for my decision
I pray for angel wings to greet me
For you to see that I need you
So as I lie there still as stone
Rain the only beat to my body
I will cry for you no more
I am with you

i didn't really consider this suicidal poetry, this was actually pretty good. the only reason i rn across it was because i was looking for retarded suicidal poetry where all they do is complain about how horrible life is, so i could make fun of them. so this was a nice surprise, good work.
