On Wings It Flies
On Wings it flies
Soaring low by Night
High by Day it glides
A never-ending flight
Soaring low by Night
Through young men's Dreams
A never-ending flight
Daughter's whims unseen
Through young men's Dreams
It haunts their minds
Daughter's whims unseen
Kept secret for a time
It haunts their minds
While plaguing the Heart
Kept secret for a time
It lights a Spark
While plaguing the Heart
With light feelings of Joy
It lights a Spark
Then turns Man back to Boy
With light feelings of Joy
The Spark turns to Flame
Then turns Man back to Boy
No Spirit can contain
The Spark turns to Flame
Which Consumes with Desire
No Spirit can contain
Spark becomes Flame then Consuming Fire
Which Consumes with Desire
Until the End when
Spark becomes Flame then Consuming Fire
Then Fuel is destroyed and Spirit penned
Until the End when
High by Day it glides,
Then Fuel is destroyed and Spirit penned,
On Wings it flies
