growing up

Topic: Lifepoems

If growing up is hard
Then why discard
The people you love and share
for people who don't care
Life has changed
since i rearanged
my mind- my head
and decided instead
to grow up and mature
for the sake of my future
and go through everything
my life will bring
with my head held high
and i will not be shy
no matter what will go wrong
i must stay strong
some good will come from it
i had to admitt
that even though
its hard to mature and grow
it has to be done
in every one

Maturity is one thing that has always baffled me. When is someone considered matured. Mature as in old. Matured as in mentally taking responsibility because you are told. It be the case, I guess I am immature:)!
Your write gave me a chance to reflect on myself. Thanks for bringing it to my attention :)!

Growing up isn't easy, and sometimes I had just as soon not. But, as you say in this poem, you must decide to stand tall and take the good with the bad. Good write.
