River of tears

Topic: SadPoetry

Sometimes I think that this is only a bad dream
Sometimes I wish that my tears could not be seen
ButI always wake up and hear the beating of my broken heart
Why was I so blind? Why was I ignoring it?
I didnt want to see the real you
I kept ignoring and ignoring I was too afraid
I never thought that it would end this way
When I first saw you I thought that youre the one
But when I got to know you Ive realized that youre not for me I knew that we cant be
There were so many fights I couldnt stand it.
You kept telling me do this and do that
You knew that Ive hated that.
But I couldnt face you I was afraid
I thought that I would die if youll leave me today
A month has passed and here I am just sitting there and crying
There were too many things to say but unfortunately we had no time left
Too many questions I had but no one to answer.
I used to sit there and cry wondering why?
And now we went each on his way without saying a word
And now
all I have is the memory of your face and your hands holding me
You used to hold me close to you
You used to whisper in my ear that you will never leave me
You promised

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
