Oak Moon

Contributed by Eternal_Darkness on Monday, 16th December 2002 @ 02:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: NaturePoetry

What is it that the stars cry out?
Or that the wind wishes to celebrate?
The sun has gone away to pout
And all light finds it much too late
So comes the lady dressed in white
Dancing 'round the mighty oak
And there she'll stay until the light
Hidden within the blue black cloak
She'll dance and sing to guide the lost
Who wandered onto her eternal stage
Although for she asks a small moral cost
No one need fear her rage
But when the light peeks far over the hill
She will remain forever in the day the night does kill
