I'm a Marines Girl
That's plain to see
My eyes can't hide it
They expose me
Look on my neck
The tags that I wear,
They are my lovers
fighting over there.
I stand by him
Loyal and true
Waiting months
even If I feel blue
I sometimes get mad, but realize I'm only sad
Because he is so far away.
I can't pick up the phone and call him,
When I feel insecure or have a bad day
So when the tears start falling
And I can't really speak
Remember I am a Marines Girl
with a promise to keep
