i heard from a friend who told me she see you around
and the feelings all welled back up inside
i remember your love the way it felt safe to hide.
you were never ashamed of me or what we had
and our love never went bad
we just drifted apart
further than we knew but still in a heart
the last time i saw you
i knew if i had you i'd never have to worry
but we drifted and now we must see
if only friends is what we can be.
as i was planning to take his name
you gave yours to her
but for some reason i never let go
and some day i will let you know..
but for now i will walk on...
cuz as long as i love you
i know we still hang on....

Very good writing.
U neva know.
My best friend and i lost touch way back 'bout six or so years ago. Needless to say I speak to him now after years of wondering.
