I can still remember that very day
When destiny made you cross my way
That moment my heart began to see
That living this life is worthwhile
With each time that I see you smile
I know you and I are meant to be
I tried to resist the love that I feel
Tried to turn away from what is real
For you I see myself as unworthy
And I find it hard to sleep at night
How can something wrong feel so right?
Maybe you and I are meant to be
I have tried so hard just to confide
This love for you that I feel inside
Hoping that you might set me free
From the chain of love I am bound
You are the love that I have found
You and I are simply meant to be
I try so hard to question fate
Until I realize that I am too late
My life without you would be empty
Because of you Ive learned to live
Will you accept this love that I give?
You and I are truly meant to be
