Twist and spin to a dark land where you see all your fears With a head full of shame down your cheek runs a blank tear Elves with points on their hats and shoes wait to scare you stiff Lend me your ear and hear me that I have one dark gift Veins clogged with the sins I've done and the sight I have seen End the pain, the hate, most of all end the thing I've been
Pull all your fears in one small bite sized piece of green food Let it go down your throat and keep it hid from the rude Urns full of ash of charred dreams and burned past thanks gone wrong Some think they can live in their less than good lives with songs
One knows that his song won't be heard by all and not me None can count on that what they say can be heard or seen End the pain, the hate, most of all end the thing I've been
