i wait until that time may come
when i can hear your voice
and feel less alone
i wait until you may call again
and wonder if
you i'll ever win
i wonder if you know i am afraid
afraid of being alone
in this cold world
we all live in
i wonder if anyone thinks the same
but for now i think of you
how it would be nice
to feel like your there for me
just like i'm there for you..
i wonder if you know i am there for you
no matter what the circumstance
i would be there
if you needed me to
i wonder if you'd do the same
or just be like most and turn away..
i am far from confused.
i suppose you can say it is hope..
maybe.
i hope that someone, if not you
one day could be there for me
to love me in the ways i yearn to be loved
or if not possible then maybe be there for me
when i need them too
and whom will not be fearful nor doubtful
of my presence too.

| This is a wonderful poem. There are so much writing about love on this board that is really not worth reading. It is a pleasure to read your beautiful poem. And, yes I've had many of these same thoughts. |
