You had to go back to court on Monday
All I could do was fall to my knees and pray
Everyone said whatever happened was for the best
But see, without you Id be put to rest
They dont see all you get me through
They dont see the me without you
They only see what you make me up to be
How you make me love and you set me free
They only see the tears that I cry
They dont know that inside I want to die
Cause even though you cheated and were through
Were still best friends and I still love you
They dont know what we talk about
How you hold me up, you never put me down
They dont how we still plan our lives
How we've never once got in a fight
They dont know how we laugh for no reason
They dont understand us, just cant see it
See they dont know you're my angel from above
God sent you to me to teach me how to love
With you around, my spirit soars
And each day I somehow love you more
We broke up but you'll still my moon and sun
And this I know--we'll never be done

This is a stunningly beautiful write. You've managed to get me speechless, which is a feat in itself. Remarkable talent here and such emotion! Gorgeous, simply gorgeous, I do hope things work out.
