Beauty is her features
But faults are on her mind
Why does she not see what i see
A Bright Shining star
She hides her feelings from her daddy
but tells me what she really feels
she crys for her mommy
but gets no response
she shakes her hard
but she's past out cold
she thinks her mommies gone
she knew it happened again
even after all those times she said
she would never stick that needle
In her fragile arm again
everyday is this way
and by the day is done
she crys with her teddy bears
and in her mind she runs
