The pleasure of your warmth
stirs the deepest reaches in my soul
and moves me to places undreamed of.
You have wakened in me the awareness
that caresses your lips,
touches your neck,
chasing away the cold.
and as the candle's light plays softly on your skin
the shadows sing
and sink
beneath your robe.
I embrace the exquisite beauty,
the rare authentic truth of the love
flowing in my senses.
challenging my image of self
and having changed the world with your grace,
I begin to live.
