Sad nights Even sadder days Nothing to look forword to I run home I love to run It is so refreshing On my way I stop What else do I have? Running and what else? Nothing. I gasp at the snowy creature walking toward me Huge white paws pad the gravel It's dark black eyes staring into my soul The huge white bobcat walks to me As I lay a hand on the soft velvet of it's head I hear it speak 'I'll show you what you have' And in a blink of an eye I am home Standing on my porch Looking into the window at my brother, my mother, and my father This is what I have This is mine Thank you my white friend
