Please send me a sign
an angel of mine
to tell me iam loved
and not always pushed and shoved
Please see what i see
and not always be
too damn busy
to pay attention
to how i feel
about myself and my complexion
Please listen to what i say
and what i try to tell you each and every day
i seem to have no friends
and no common sense
it seems no ones there
it seems no one cares
but then i look around
without one sound
and i see
you and me
mom i know
you are always on the go
but that does not mean
you are not there for me
thank you for this talk
now i can walk
with my head held high
up too the sky
so everyone knows
just how it goes
you put the smile back on my face
no one in the world
will ever take your place
you are the angel of mine
