She says that I have no respect for myself
for giving away the things I create.
She says its wrong to give away
what I love to do,
and that if I don't respect the price of art
that I have no respect for myself.
Funny,
I thought,
a gift is something given,
free from the heart
and how can it be wrong to give
so freely
when I take so freely from the world around me?
My art is all that I see and feel from Nature
for she has given me these gifts.
My art is worth more than the weight of gold
more than the worth of "god"
and I value more the exploration of mind and soul
for gifts I have
and value more the art of following
my truth in giving it to You.

Well I feel that sharing our gifts or art talents
are what we do here. We ask from the ordinary ppls what they think and if doing it freely is wrong to that lady then its the almigthy dollar thats got her blinded. Just my opinion . Keep up the writes. I am glad you share them.

As already said, It's up to our self what to do with our gifts.
We choose if we want to make our withborn gifts into gifts that other may have.
