You act like you dont want me to cry but
you love me, too. (I know you do)
So how come you just sit there and deny
and deny and deny and deny?
Things just can't end this way
and not very soon
Nopeour love affair is just a lazy poem this afternoon.
And I keep trying to love you in my own way,
I think you know I do.
But to have you here, to see you living
to be so near to me, none of that is true.
You are distant and so it's dead
and I dont comprehend
Nopeour love affair is just the spirals at my wits end.
Do you see me looking up at the sky, how high it is and wonder
do you wonder if there is any way at all?
How can it be that youre not with me?
The tears flow and I fall
I just have too many memories
Our history is so unfair
A half split second and I lose the chance,
but our chemistry still lingers in the air.
Im always too lonely and I send you a line
Nopeour love affair is just a dream of mine.
It's over baby,
Where were you every night when I wanted you?
And every night when I needed you by my side?
Its so sad, don't you hear me cry?
Nopeyou just sit there and deny and deny and deny
