Tell me why?
Why do I love you so damn much?
When my heart hasnt the faintest of clues.
It wants to say I do.
It wants to touch.
When my mind says it doesnt feel such a love a love for you.
Youve been a rainbow in my skies of gray.
When the storms of life have gathered on the narrow way.
Youve helped me through thick and thin.
Youve always been there to be a friend.
Youve taken my hand and led me through to the promised land.
But why do I love you?
Please tell me why?
Why do I love you so damn much?
When my heart hasnt the faintest of clues.
It wants to say I do.
It wants to touch.
When my mind says it doesnt feel such a love a love for you.
I just dont understand?
When my heart knows and feels it can.
But my mind keeps saying its not right to feel such a love a love for you.
Why then do I love you so damn much?
Youve helped me see the mistakes Ive made
Never turning your back.
Never being afraid.
Maybe getting a little upset from time to time
But babe thats plain to see why.
I just dont know
I havent figured it out.
Why my love is so strong?
Why it just goes on and on?
