old man iam asking you
to hear my holy prayers
old man as i whisper here
will you understand
i feel you there the amazing man
do you hear me as i cry aloud
sit with me and talk awhile
smoke a joint and i would tell
how i got to heaven
and then i fell
try to understand
sit back listen as you can...
i know your there, the amazing man
and as i sit here with you
watching the stars collide
i sit there and i talk to you
and you can hold my hand all through the night
blow the smoke into the wind
and look me in the eyes
see the world as i see it
and know i never lied
give me the courage to face alone
be me free to roam
by try to understand
listen as you can
try to hear my insides smoking
your the amazing man
