Thrown into a sea of darkness,
No light to find my way
All I have are these words of mine,
And a tiny voice to confess them
Lost within the depths of my corrupted mind,
Wallowing in horrid past recollections,
Death is near and ready to claim
But there is a presence hidden within the shadows,
A faceless hope with open arms
In my safe haven with loving friends,
I know I am not alone
The blindfold is taken off,
My sightless eyes now perceive,
The angels that I have been blessed with,
And I weep such blissful tears
The stubborn clouds of depression have lifted,
The sun warms my skin with her smile,
And I know I am free
A thousand words could describe what I feel inside,
But I chose only these precious four
I love you all
Without friends like you,
I really dont know where Id be
My gratitude is endless for all you have done
There will always be a special place in my heart,
For the poets and poetesses of YPDC
My familymy home

And yes!!!! there is magic in this place... I've felt the effects of the same myself. This is home to many beautiful souls (yours among them)- and I'm so glad you're here with us!
