selfstruggles

i know nothing of what i believe i pretend and perceive to understand all based on the dreams of just one man that could make me bleed blood already brown dried, crusted, stuck to the ground there where I lay so dirty not like the girl i aspire to be i am spinning in circles to quickly to see breaking the holds that reality has on me i keep thinking of ways to fly to see extraordinary without the high of chemical romance for last resort i want release, a secret fort where i can laugh like a three year old free from the binding holds of reality

Out of the mouth of Shannon Hoon:
"To be sixteen and free."
Everybody is looking for freedom, and yet it is just beneath them. If I could find my peace in the world today, I would tell you that freedom is the moment just before we cry, when the tears are rising and that warm feeling we feel as they start to spread and loose themselves all over our cheeks...I would tell you that's what freedom is. But I have not found my peace, no, not in this world...so I have to say freedom is a second short. Freedom is the beginning...A new born bird falling from the nest...freedom is something we throw away for so called better things. And then one day, we realize it was the best thing we had, and we look and we look and we can never find it again...but the crazy thing is, is that it's still there, it's waiting for us...just gotta close your eyes and remember the sound the sky makes...or the ocean(that's closer ^_^) or the first cry of your daughter or your son...that's freedom...real freedom...not this silly imaginary thing that we fight to uphold in our symbols and slogans...freedom is love...and we can't even have that.
always, abraham |

Damn this is good.
I am surprised that more people haven't commented on it. They are missing out.
Sometimes, I think we all want a way out of reality.. I know I do. Thankyou for giving me a little moment, in the form of your poem.
*hugs* Phil xxx |

Powerful raw write. if this is what you are experiencing then freedom from the pain you have to endure is freedom for your soul. Better to find a love who respects and loves you and allows you to feel this freedom within. Not crush your dreams and torture you.
Find your freedom and you will soar so high
Amazing terrific write
(((HUGS))))
Love Angelxxx
