Its silver shines in the moonlight
Its blade reflects the hopelessness in my face
Its handle, I know well
It has been my only friend for some time now
At night is when i feel its anger
I feel it slide through my skin, blood, and veins
For a moment serene
Until the pain
Until the realization of what Ive done comes through
Thoughts rush around in my mind
A little deeper each time....
Maybe the last time

| Sadly, something many people can relate to, myself being one..with no one to trust, no one to..confide in, the knife reaches out to the lonely soul, with comfort, and for a while..everything is okie..then you realize what youve resorted to, how off track things have gotten...great write..I can really relate to it, as others can as well..keep up the good work.. |
