Sick of the pain
Tearing at my fractured mind
Cutting soft and slow
Trying to gain some normalcy
Inside my chaotic brain
I'm sorry what more can I say?
How can I hold my chin up high?
When I'm following your gaze
To my scars, I wish I could die
Instead of being forced, to see your disappointment
Wanting to leave this life behind,
But by your will I'm forced to reside
Why is life like this?
Can't pull myself off the curb
Why can't I just disappear
Screaming like I'm demon possessed
Trying to drown out
The voices in my head
Are all my strivings for naught?
Trying to chase away my ever-present fears
Trying to analyze where I went wrong
Staring at the blood dripping from my wrists
Coincidentally, like tears dripping
From my tortured face
I feel like I'm being eatin from the inside
It seems my only choice is pain
So I'm forced to live
Beside the waters of my misery
Calling for someone, anyone
To take out this thorn
