I've got what I wanted
This love I've outgrown
Free at last from regret
So why do I feel so alone?
Cause when I saw only you
There was someone who saw only me
And now that I want him
It's too late, and I don't know how to be
Friends lost is the price that I pay
They only smile and keep away
I've lost their trust when I believed in you
Know now what wish then I knew
Nothing is quite the same
There's a new replacement that doesn't fit
Taking all that's left
And not leaving even a little bit
