Tripping on New York City sidewalk cracks at dawn Completely lost, I struggle to find my way home
I regain my balance, and begin to understand Why chaos is preferred in no-mans land
Ordinary men, desperate for a little room Pardon their souls, they know only how to consume
Witnesses to the eagle which once flew Now their wicked sky burns bright blue
Ordinary as i am, I seek only the truth Gazing upon tonights star, from atop this roof

It's a shame how people take advantage...=
I liked these lines the most:
"I regain my balance, and begin to understand
Why chaos is preferred in no-mans land"
Nice write. |

Very vividly done- and quite profound too.
The last two lines are great.
Excellent work. |
