I SAW YOU AGAIN AND YOU BLEW MY MIND
IF I WERE A TALKATIVE PERSON
I'D SPEAK TO YOU ALL THE TIME
I WOULDNT KNOW WHAT TO SAY IFYOU WALKED MY WAY
BUT IF I WERE TO WALK YOURS
YOU WOULDNT HAVE TO DO NOTHING BUT SMILE
AND MY HEART WOULD STAY
I KNOW I LOOK MEAN
AND DRESSED THUGGED OUT
BUT IF I HAD A CHANCE
I'D EXPLAIN TO YOU WHAT I'M ALL ABOUT
I USED TO BE A PLAYER
SO I'VE BROKEN SOME HEARTS
WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND
CAUSE MINE FELL APART
RAISED AS A THUG
I RAN THE STREETS
MY SUCCES CAME EASY
CAUSE I DIDNT HAVE TO COMPETE
YOU WOULD THINK I HAD IT ALL
BUT MY SOUL COULD NOT FIND ITS SLEEP
SOMETIMES I GET LONELY
ITS LIKE THE GIFT AND THE CURSE
YOU WILL KNOW WHICH ONE IS MINE
CAUSE THINGS COULDNT GET ANY WORSE
I GUESS YOU CAN SAY I HAD DIED AND LIVED AGAIN
ITS A COMPLACATED STORY
SO I WOULDNT EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN
I'D TELL YOU BITS AND PARTS OF MY LIFE
THATS EVEN HARD TO DO
CAUSE I'VE ALREADY FELT THE EDGE OF THE KNIFE
I LIVE WITH SCARS FROM MY KNUCKLES TO MY FACE
THEIR DEEP WITHIN MY FLESH
SO I FEEL OUTTA PLACE
I'M THE LAST OF A DYING BREED
DESTAINED TO STRUGGLE EVER SINCE I WAS A SEED
SO JUST TAKE A LOOK IN MY EYES
AND YOU WILL SEE
THAT I'M STILL WAITING
FOR THE RIGHT GIRL TO SET MY SOUL FREE
