Fighting a battle within
lost within
confused and alone without
Where to turn?
Another time
some other face
who are you?
why are you in this place?
Drenched in dark shadows
crimson rain pouring through veins
lost inside the void
searching to find the answers
yet choking on bitterness
of the pain.

I love it... That 3rd line really brings out the confusion you feel... "without" is used so exquisitely here... amazing.
