A Lover's Illusion....

Contributed by mina-1 on Friday, 18th March 2005 @ 03:03:12 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

The stream thrusts it's currents
Amidst the water that flows into the
river freely
As the tears on my face do their dance
Slowly waltzing smoothly, but deeply
The ring of fear harbours
In the depths of my ears
Ringing bells constantly
When the wind bellows its gust of fear
The echo chanting of a lover's
struggle to engage
In a love so deep and passionate
Entangled in quarrel and rage
Connecting ties fusing at the heart
Chapters to fill a novel
Giving you enthralment from the start
Sultry heat casts an illusion of twisted fate
Can we rekindle this love?
Or is it simply just too late?
