I write this letter,,for she'll never read,,
good-bye,, was the last thing she said,,
when i walked away,,I closed my eye's,,
wondering what went wrong,,
the only thing that she gave me,,
was a life full of meaning,,
wanting to have ,,wanting to give,,
a love, a lifetime,,
an envelope in my hand,,
a letter full of words,,
a title full of meanings,,
for one who walks alone,,
another day in time,,is what it said,
for I never saw her again,,
I think of her more that often,,
more often than i should,,
she was part of my life,,
to the Islands we would go,,
a wife she would be,,
had gone away,,
another day in time,,
she said as I left,,
another day in time,,
was not mine to have,,
for she's not mine,,and I'm not her's,,
for I wish it were another day in time,,
I wouldn't have left her ,,
maybe then she would have been my wife,,
another day in time ,,
is what we all dream about,,
what if ?
