These tears that flow, can never be enough
to clear my thoughts of such precious moments
Moments that are the only reminders
left of a love so deep, a love so true
These tears that rage, can never be enough
to sweep away this sadness that I feel
Sadness that consumes the glee of my smiles
all that is left are tears, left are these tears
These tears that surge can never be enough
to pacify this longing that I feel
Longing that’s slowly making me insane
Holding on to sanity, holding on
This poem, oh, can never be enough!
to describe the sadness and the longing
That I feel, that consumes me, that kills me
Sadness, longing, keeping my sanity
