In The Streets Of Earth

As I walk the crowded streets,
so many things do I see,
I look out to happiness, depression,
and loss of equality.
I see the homeless beg,
I see a child cry,
I see violence all over,
it makes me wonder why.
Why must the world be like this,
why must we all feel such pain,
so much illness, and tragedy,
please tell me what we gain.
I dont walk to walk these streets anymore,
these roads crowded with problems,
maybe ill walk these streets again,
when there is a day that we solve them.

I don't think that day will ever come that we solve all of these things.....but i understand where you were going with this poem and it's sad..it really is because it's some of these things in life that tear us down so many times...thanks for sharing this one it's beautifully written and gives one alot to think about..
