I was rocking in my chair,
when I noticed my door.
It was locked.
And all this time I thought that to be,
the reason for my loneliness.
I was blow-drying my hair,
when I noticed the whore,
staring back.
And all this time I thought inside,
the mirror was a lonely world.
I was playing "Truth-or-Dare,"
when I noticed that I lie,
without consequence.
And all this time I thought falsities were,
the reason for my loneliness.
I was pretending not to care,
when I noticed I had cried,
and you had seen.
And all this time I thought of my silence as,
the reason I live in a lonely world.
I was falling down my stairs,
when I noticed my mistakes.
I was not alone at all.
All this time I have had good company,
with me always.
I was counting all the tears,
when I noticed my heart was in place.
I could feel.
And all this time I thought the voices,
in my head were wrong.
