Distance

Summer rain in the midst of autumn
awakes my ache for you.
Im slightly deranged
youre far out of my range
but Im aiming my shot at you
Im aiming my hopes at you.
Dont you worry, there is no danger
my bullet is never goanna rich you
what I know Im never goanna teach you.
My shot wont bring you down
distance is bulletproof for any gun.

Sudden hunger awoke my senses
foolishness made me
brake down the fences.
Thoughtless is a notion
of sending my all to a land unknown,
destination far from here,
knowing what I have to say
youre never goanna hear.

Slightly discouraged by
overwhelming space
my hopes will give up the chase.
Rest assure, youll be left alone
deeply engaged in world of your own.
Just a temporary blindness on my side
made me forget,
your remoteness is too much for my pride.
Severe invasion on your being
ended before it began
Ill put down my weapons
and walk away, while I still can.
You will stay in the dark
Oblivious of my endeavor
finely my eyes are open
youre not meant to be my savior.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
