I see you in the hallway
You're walking next to her
A million things run through my mind
as my thoughts become a blur
My eyes soon fill with painful tears
but i continue strong
I force a smile upon my face
as I walk along
You tell me that you love me
but I don't feel you care
I wanna tell you how I feel
but all I do is stare
You act like I'm invisible
as me you walk right by
You cannot see the pain in me
or the desperate need to cry
She wraps her arms around you
as my heart begins to pound
My whole world is now in her arms
but I don't make a sound
A sharp pain in my heart
tells me I need to look away
As I turn my back and close my eyes
to the lord I pray
"Oh I pray good lord above
my heart it hurts so bad
I don't wanna love him anymore
I hate the feeling sad"
"He shattered all my fragile heart
but I love him still
with all the tiny pieces
I forever will"
"I'll wait until he realizes
with her he is all wrong
but I pray good lord above
I can only wait so long"
