I thought it was love
But clearly not
Because true love lost
Wouldn't be so bitter
As to tell his friend
To shoot me down
With an acrid, acid tongue
I thought we could be friends
But in the end
It seems you've made
Another enemy
Would it be so hard
To wipe the slate clean
And carry on regardless

This is a very personal poem....i hope everything works out for you both in the long run...forgiveness isnt that hard for a mistake made...then again i guess it depends on how big your heart is...
