A journey for or of two?

Cold and cloudy
Misty skies blurring our vision
Stiffening our limbs,
It was a lonely Friday nite

Like a dot of light
on the draperies of boredoom
our paths were illuminated
The warmth of the light gave strength
to weak limbs

in flitting seconds
our journey began,
with little childlike tenative steps
our paces were different but
surprisingly similar

my stride slowed
from pokes and jabes of life
were only waiting to be awaken
his steps placed footprints
of determination on are choosen path

fast , steady and believeing
falling short of breaths i asked
do u think we can make it?
Time is agasint us and am too weary
To fight.

He smiles , the light
In his eyes reflects the answer
I know i can make if you stay with me
The warmth of his words gave strength
To my weary limbs.

With growing excitement
our pace picked a new rythm
We covered great grounds in unbelievable
Time but soon nature signals
Its time to take to a break
after which we will continue
our journey for two
