You didn't hurt me
but you made me really mad
you didn't make me happy
you made me very sad.
I just don't understand you
and what you're trying to do
but I think it just might be
that you want to hurt me like I hurt you.
I told you I was sorry
for what I did to you
I tried and tried so hard
to prove my love was true.
You're not the person I used to know
You've become a different you
I thought you were honest
I thought you were sincere
I thought you really meant those things
you whispered in my ear.
You told me that you loved me
that everything would be fine
but now I've seen the truth
and that was all just a lie.
What happened to you?
Where did my Michael go?
I never thought you were capable
of doing something so low.
You've proven to me now
that you're nothing you used to be
I gave you chance after chance
and all you did was use me.

This is sad...so very sad when we realize we made a mistake and ask for their forgiveness practically begging for it and it's as though they forgive but just barely?....then later on to top it off find out they lied to us the whole time....that hurts deeply....thanks for sharing this one that's what it brought to my mind...
