Mystery Woman

What the hell is this?
This unusual, uncharacteristic reaction
I mean, it bears no semblance to the one usually put into action when I feel attraction
My attitude, my indifference, my confidence.......of heartbreaks past, a consequence
It just doesn't make sense that it's making me restless

Who is this lady?

My thoughts become hazy, it's drives me crazy even
Trying not to let it show.....all the while thinking, scheming
Attempting to be smoothe, impress you with my slick ways but my mind delays
Postpones, stalls
Betrays, my attempted expression of what your presence demands
No, of what your presence commands
Respect, adoration, attention
You're a true woman's definition
By the very words of your mouth, you grace us with your endearing disposition
Classy, friendly, always quick to share a laugh........every man pining for you to have
What is it about you that makes my heart skip three beats whenever our gaze meets?
Is it your face, your eyes, your lips, your curves that are the highlight of my days and nights?
Is it your hypnotic scent, your perfume that envelops me, entrancing when you pass me by?

Confused..... my mind I stand to lose

When you walk, you strut
It's the way you move
Like a runway model......gliding, graceful
Always confident, with your round the way swing
Never distasteful
Always sexy, always classy
Always a lady........listens, understands and plays her favorite sport as well as the next man

Who is this girl?

No......this woman
I mean, she has me switching roles......I'm not supposed to lose control
I'm always cool, calm and collected
An effect of my emotions being so long neglected
Unrecquited...........unexpected, but so welcome this renewed passion for romance
This insatiable desire to undress you, to kiss you, to caress you
Inside and out, left, right, up and down
To know you, to have you, to love you
Fantasies abound and my mind they surround
Encompassing every fiber of my very existence
Adding hopelessness to my futile resistance to your smoothe, sensual, caramel complexion
It enhances our mental connection
This attraction you so smoothly try to disguise but I still recognize
That sly smile and devilish grin you display, when you check me out, then quickly look away

Damn!......you really drive me crazy

What does it?
Is it your long, dark, unfurled cascading curls?
Or is it the way you make a tank top and pair of sweats the sexiest thing in the world?

No...........it's got to be the way your intoxicating smile would render me powerless to your impending seduction

In the end however......I've come to an inevitable deduction
The reality of my life unfortunately conspires to bring about my heart's destruction
Such is always the case when It comes to the women in my life
That an ensuing relationship would only bring strife
And I come to the realization as I sit here in my apartment
That taking the first step to disappointment

Would be our introduction
