The space is where the passion used to be the smiles are dead and quiet like whispers this void it consumes me The haze turns my face I can't see the darkness only the pity I can see my get away on a plain out of this tortured city
The chains around our hands and neck they represent time spun with gold weak like twine
Poisen ivy a wish on the last star a body mapped with scars
Don't forget the perfect day the day with no complaints when the sun shone A past glimpse of a memory old and long
