Forget all my memories
There's nothing left to live for
Forget my immunity
The pain's worse than ever before
And my shadow, it haunts me
I can't slip away
The darkness consumes me
Have I fallen so astray?
I quicken my pace
But I'm trapped in this endless hole
I fall on my face
The emptiness fills my cold soul
And all I had cared for
Has been ripped out of my hands
All I had lived for
And now hopeless I stand
Will you forget me
So I can be free
Will you forgive me
So that I can leave
This empty promise I live in
I can't take anymore
I'm so ready to give in
I'm too torn up and sore
And so I still stand here
Awaiting the end
No point in my fear
My broken soul does not mend
Let in all the darkness
Take over my soul
Falling through this black abyss
Until I am no more...

thats a reli gut poem and has heaps of great emotion weaved into it. I lyk the ending especially and the descriptive words which provide excellent imagery...ok, im sounding too technical........anyways, GREAT WORK!!!!

| This poem I love it...This one is my favorite one by you...Gosh...your an amazing writer...Thanks for the comment again ...Well all my writing is how i feel and I guess I feel alsmot the same why as you..Well I mean your writing is just amazing...Wow....Its really deep and when you put alot of thought in it its just likw wow you just sumed up alot about me.. |

absolutely fantastic poem, great emotion, excellent flowing feel to the read of it.
and i love the touch of using the title as the last line basis, that is a technique that i really admire and appreciate (and try to use myself but fail lol)
