Safety From Misery

I hobble in my leather jacket Just to get a taste of cool But the presence of my metal brackets Traps me in a pity pool
I can't get out of this funk I'm in I'm stuck in a fight I don't want to win
Oh it's the truth I'm a silly fool
Save me from my misery Sweet thing won't you set me free? Save me from my misery Sweet thing won't you set me free?
I've picked up a few bad habits Just to relate to you And I thrash chords to make a racket So you can hear me too
But I can't seem to play loud enough And I'm not the type to be acting tough
Oh from you I'm not expecting much
No safety from my misery I know you won't set me free No safety from my misery I know you won't set me free
