Deprived, Forgotten

Deprived

Tainted by a monsters touch,
What was life like before it all happened?
My memory is vague,
When did Happiness last visit me,
And stayed for more than a day

Ah, Misery, my newest love,
Seductress of these salty lamentations,
She feeds off of them,
Savoring as if a priceless wine

Childhood, whatever happened to mine?
The little girl within screams for release,
For someone to love her,
For someone to free her

Bound to the tyrant called father,
Forever chained to his mighty throne,
A wretched fool for his entertainment
These cuffs cut through my skin,
Scarring these wrists,
But never enough to bleed
Infinite torture, those piercing hazel eyes,
Thoughts of him just send me back,
Back to my cage,
Back to the darkness

Smile, how do you do that?
Speak, where is my voice?
Cry, dont you see my invisible tears?

Ancient eyes stare back at me,
I know who you are You are me
The mirror never lies

Deprived of innocence,
Abandoned, cold and spent,
Lost within the heavy fog of treason

Forgotten

Just another useless shadow in a dark world,
Wanting to be seen,
Yearning to be heard,
Wishing to be loved
But who can love something,
That is invisible?

Fallen from grace,
A devil disguised as an angel,
Im not what you think I am
So many things to be revealed,
Yet, what would it matter,
I will only get hurt in the end
What am I to do with all of this emptiness?
This resonating melody of nothingness within me,
My nightly lullaby
Hollow,
There isnt a heart ticking inside

My soul is the color of the death,
Heartless fiend
Do not fear the darkness,
For in death,
That is all there is

I will be the ash that courses through the air,
I will be the insanity that will kill you,
I will be nothing more than an illusion in your eyes
In the end

WE ARE ALL FORGOTTEN

goodness what can I say that I haven't said
before? I can relate to quite a bit of what you
write about and I only wish I could write half
as eloquently as you. Yeah this is some
amazing poetry here.
